Future 6th Graders

This week and last week I visited the different elementary schools to talk to students regarding 6th grade.

At the meeting I reminded them about our 5th grade Open House on 3/5 at 7:00 in the JHS Gym.

Happy PD Day!

Monday was a very busy day at BJHS.  Professional Developement (PD) is a required component of the school year.  Bedford has 5 teacher PD days.  We worked in groups as a whole school, in individual departments, in School Improvement Teams, and in large groups for reading instruction stratigies.
I hope that your sons and daughters had a wonderful day off .

Parent/Teacher Conferences 2

Our second set of Parent/Teacher Conferences will be this Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00.  This is a chance to make a quick visit to see teachers about the progress of your child. This conference is only for 7th & 8th grade students.

This is a new format and we will be evaluating it at the end of the year.

100 Mile Club

Our 100 Mile Club has started this week.  This group meets after school and then runs/walk 100 miles over the given time.  Thank you Toby and our YMCA for running this great program.  More information can be found by clicking here.

Talent Show Tonight

Tonight at 7:00 in the café we are having our annual talent show.  We will showcase acts across our grades here at the JHS.  Thank you Dr. Robinson and Mr. Lopinski for your behind the scenes work.  Good luck to all of the participants.
